We are delighted to reveal Andrew Leslie Cooper as our new colleague in the second countertenor position. Andrew has been performing with us since June and replaces Alexander Chance as a full-time member of the group.
“It is an absolute dream come true to be joining The Gesualdo Six. Until 18 months ago I was studying at Westminster Choir College in the United States, where I’d lived since my teenage years. I stumbled upon G6’s Ely Cathedral videos and from then on, it became dream of mine to sing with the group. Now, I actually have to pinch myself to believe that I got the job. I’m really looking forward to all the touring and recording I’ll be doing with G6 in the coming years, as well as the obligatory cricket!”
