June Sessions: Josquin at Ely
This series of 4 online recitals, filmed in 4K in the beautiful Ely Cathedral is now available to watch back on-demand. June Sessions contextualises some of the ‘jewels in the crown’ of Italian Renaissance repertoire by tracing themes of European pedagogy, patronage, friendships, and musical geneology through the lens of Josquin’s Legacy at Ferrara, featuring works by Ockeghem, Brumel, Josquin, Mouton and L’Héritier.
