We are sad to announce that after over 7 years with The Gesualdo Six, Sam Mitchell will be leaving us for pastures new at the end of August. He has been a fantastic colleague, and we will all miss him being a part of the team.
Here’s a word from Sam:
“I have to say that, back in 2016, joining a new professional group that was so fresh out of University felt like a huge decision. I’m so happy and proud to say that it paid off! It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come, both as individuals and as a group, during these seven and a half years. As I write, I can count the number of concerts I have left on one hand, so it’s beginning to hit home. I’m going to look back on my time in G6 with enormous pride, and can’t wait to go along to lots of concerts in the future!

We wish Sam the best as he continues his career, and will continue to send him videos of beautiful spinning wickets, as well as asking him incessant questions about the names of his (many) childhood chickens.
