Byrd Mass for Five Voices with Choir of the Earth

Join us and Choir of the Earth for an extraordinary choral residency: a three night Renaissance pilgrimage to Lincoln.
Lifting your voice beneath the soaring 13th-century vaulted ceiling of Lincoln Cathedral, you will sing William Byrd’s Mass, and a selection of renaissance masterpieces, in the very space where he served as Organist and Master of the Choristers. This comprehensive musical journey features intensive rehearsals under the direction of conductor Ben England BEM, premium digital learning materials from choirlibrary.com before you arrive, a private concert performance by The Gesualdo Six, and a technical workshop led by the ensemble in the cathedral’s historic Chapter House.
The residency culminates in a full-scale evening concert in the magnificent Cathedral Nave, where you will perform alongside The Gesualdo Six on stage.
