G6 Editions

Since the group formed in 2014, we have produced our own editions of the music we perform. Today, we’re excited to share them with you.

We work with choirs of all shapes and sizes around the world, so we recognise the importance of working from editions that are well-presented, well-researched and practical for every choir. 

After more than 500 concerts using our own scores, we’ve refined a house style that works in performance. The scores are clear and easy to read, with sensible pagination and layout. Likewise, we know that lots of choirs struggle to find the music they want in a key that works for their forces. We have provided both SATB and lower-voice versions of the music where helpful, and have included piano reductions to aid in the rehearsal and learning process.

We are proud to share our musicological expertise as an underscore to these editions. From Josquin’s Legacy to Queen of Hearts, we’ve produced scores using the original partbooks and poured this understanding into our own editions.

Our first release includes six favourite works, from Tallis and Brumel to Morales and Moran, an arrangement by our own Owain Park… and, of course, a piece by Gesualdo!
