Emerging Ensembles Programme secures funding from Scops Arts Trust

We are delighted to announce that we have received £15,000 in funding from Scops Arts Trust towards our new Emerging Ensembles Programme, a two-year programme designed to support the next generation of professional vocal groups.

This support from Scops Arts Trust will contribute towards the delivery of the first cohort, helping to fund the training, workshops and practical opportunities that form the programme. The funding will allow us to work with a network of industry professionals and partner organisations and create a broad programme of activities for the two participating ensembles.

The programme has been created to address the limited opportunities available for professional groups at the beginning of their careers. Drawing from our own experiences, and working in partnership with the National Centre for Early Music, the programme will provide opportunities for the ensembles to develop not only as musicians, but also the wider skills needed to build and sustain a successful ensemble in the 21st century.

The first cohort will begin the programme in September 2026, with two quartets, The New Eden Consort and The Hepburn Four, selected to take part. Find out more about the 2026-2028 cohort here.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our current donors and patrons, whose generous support makes projects like Emerging Ensembles possible. If you would like to help us continue to offer opportunities like this to emerging musicians, and support our other charitable initiatives, please visit our Support Us pages to find out more about how you can support the Charity.
